Karl Reiter acquired Simplex Energy Solutions in 2013 and serves as the Managing Member. Prior to that, Mr. Reiter founded and managed BaseLine Capital, Inc., a bridge capital company providing funding to independent oil and gas operators, primarily in the Permian Basin of Texas and New Mexico. Before starting BaseLine, Mr. Reiter spent 11 years as an oil and gas lender for NationsBank and Bank United. Mr. Reiter holds a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering as well as a Masters of Business Administration in Finance, both from Texas Tech University.
